Protesters in Albert Lea rally against ‘Deport Illegals’ sign

About 200 people marched in the streets of Albert Lea Monday night to speak out against hate and intolerance toward the Latino community, the Albert Lea Tribune reports. The protesters oppose a controversial electronic sign, owned by Albert Lea resident Mal Prinzing, hanging high on the side of a building that had said, “Catch and Release – No!; Deport Illegals – Si.”

Meanwhile, a small airplane toting a banner with the same message flew over Owatonna on Monday, the Owatonna People’s Press reports.
