What’s the lowest-attended home game in Twins history?

A) On Sept. 20, 1965, the paid attendance at the Met was 547 for a makeup game between the Athletics and Twins. The weather conditions weren’t exactly ideal: 52 degrees and drizzle, but the pitching matchup featured two of the American League’s best: Minnesota’s Jim “Mudcat” Grant versus K.C.’s Jim “Catfish” Hunter. The Twins, a team headed for its first World Series in Minnesota, lost the game, 8-2.
