Lunds and Byerly’s recall chicken products

Lunds and Byerly’s have recalled some chicken products due to potential for contamination with a dangerous strain of listeria, the Star Tribune reports. The recall is merely a precaution, the company said. No illnesses were reported.

Listeria typically causes a mild, flu-like illness and diahhrea, but can grow more serious, MPR notes. It’s particularly dangerous for pregnant women and newborns.

The Pioneer Press has a list of all the products affected, and notes that customers can get a refund.
