Slippery conditions cause school bus to overturn, 6 students hurt

Six children were taken to the hospital after the school bus they were riding in tipped over near Little Falls Thursday morning, KARE 11 reports.

The Morrison County Sheriff says the crash happend southeast of Little Falls on Iris Road when the driver lost control along a sharp curve. Four students were initially transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital for minor injuries. Two more students were transported later to be evaluated.

Light snow fell in the western part of the state Thursday morning. MPR says Little Falls and surrounding areas could see one to three inches of slushy accumulation.
