The 18-year-old Woodbury man reported missing Friday after not returning home from work Thursday was found safe in Minneapolis.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued a missing persons alert for Kyle Christopher Konkler, who was last seen leaving his job at the White Bear Lake Police department on foot Thursday afternoon.
Konkler is high-functioning on the autism spectrum, according to the alert. The Star Tribune reported police were worried he didn’t have any money or his cell phone and wasn’t dressed appropriately for the weather.
Around midnight, the BCA reported Konkler was found safe in Minneapolis and was returned to his family.
