A 31-year-old Foley man has gone missing on the one-year anniversary of his friends disappearance.
Jamie Robert Wylie grew up in Cottage Grove. The Foley Police Department said Wylie was last seen at a friends house in St. Cloud on Dec. 9.
The St. Cloud Times reports Wylie has not been in contact with his family since that night, when he made a cellphone call from the friend’s house. He left the house upset, according to his wife Dana.
Wylie disappeared on the one-year anniversary of Danielle Jelinek, 27, according to the Pioneer Press. Friends told the newspaper the two ran in the same circle.
“It’s another Christmas with another loved one missing,” Adrian Dupre told the Pioneer Press in an email.
Foley police are asking that anyone with information on Wylie’s whereabouts contact them at 320-968-0800.
In May Jelinek’s body was found in a marsh in Chisago County, near the home where she was last seen.
Earlier this week, Jelinek’s ex-boyfriend, Aaron Schnagl, 29, was indicted in her death. He is facing a third-degree unintentional murder charge, for allegedly supplying Jelinek with cocaine.
Schnagl told investigators they were drinking at his house and said they went to bed together around 2:30 a.m. He said Jelinek was gone when he woke up around 9:30 a.m. Her shoes, purse and other personal belongings were still at his house.
