Ledecky destroys competition, sets world record in 800m freestyle win

Katie Ledecky collected another gold meal Friday, this time in the 800-meter freestyle. Ledecky swam the distance in a time of 8:04.79, which broke her own world record by two seconds and beat her competitors by over 11 seconds.

Ledecky was going so fast, even the yellow line on televisions had a tough time keeping up with her.

For Ledecky it’s her fourth gold of the Olympics and she has also won all 15 races in her international swimming career.
