UFC has suspended Brock Lesnar and he faces further punishment

Brock Lesnar’s immediate future is really clear – he’s suspended. The former UFC heavyweight champion has been temporarily suspended by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) for violating its banned drugs policy.

Prior to his return to the Octagon for UFC 200 last month, Lesnar was tested eight times. And according to Fox Sports, the 39-year-old ex-Gopher national champion tested positive for the banned substance hydroxy-clomiphene, which is generally used to prevent side effects from steroids.

Lesnar beat Mark Hunt July 9th in a unanimous decision.

Lesnar will get a formal hearing with the NAC, according to Sports Illustrated, and he could face a two-year suspension and revocation of his win over Hunt.
