A man armed with a knife robbed a convenience store Wednesday morning, and now police are hoping the public can help identify him.

The suspect threatened the cashier at the Super America on Vierling Drive in Shakopee around 6:10 a.m., before taking cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets, Craig Robson of the Shakopee Police Department told BringMeTheNews.

He left in a silver hatchback-type vehicle that was being driven by a female, Robson notes.

Two similar robberies happened Tuesday night and early Wednesday in the metro area. Robson says investigators believe he may be a suspect in the those robberies as well.

Officials are asking people not to approach the man because he’s  “likely still armed and may be dangerous,” Shakopee police said on Facebook.

But they are hoping anyone who has information on who he is or where he might be to contact the Shakopee Police Department at 952-233-9400.

Those who help identify the man could receive a cash reward.
