Three Minnesota beermakers have been named in a top 50 list of America's fastest growing breweries.
The inaugural list compiled by the Brewers Association highlights small and independent breweries that have enjoyed a great start in the industry.
In 29th place is Lupulin Brewing, the family-owned and family-run craft brewery in Big Lake.
And in 40th place is Beaver Island Brewing in St. Cloud, which operates out of the former Bo Diddley's space in downtown.
The rankings count small, independently-owned breweries opened before the end of 2015, which make their beer at their own facilities.
The median size of the 50 breweries on the list went from 284 barrels in 2016 to 963 barrels in 2017.
