Actually, Lil Wayne's Twin Cities concert won't be rescheduled
Despite an earlier promise, Lil Wayne won't set a new date after canceling another Minnesota show.
Weezy was a last-second no-show at his Target Center gig Friday night, blaming "plane issues" that were "out of [his] kontrol."
The night went on as planned otherwise, and Lil Wayne promised on Twitter to "make it up to y'all and reskhedule." But apparently that's not happening, at least anytime soon.
Target Center said in an email statement Monday the promoter said the show will not be rescheduled, and everyone who bought tickets will get refunds. And this after the show was postponed from Feb. 25 to March 31.
Anyone who purchased via credit card, email guestservices@axs.com with your order number to get a refund back to that card. It'll take 7-10 business days for it to go through. If you bought tickets with cash, you've gotta visit the Target Center box office, in-person. Groupon tickets will be refunded through Groupon.
"We sincerely apologize to all fans for the inconvenience," Target Center added.
