Anna Kendrick wants to hate Uptown Theatre's sign, but just can't

Uptown Theatre in Minneapolis is known for its creative marquee messages to tease upcoming movies.

This week it featured the film "The Hollars," giving a nod to one of the movie's stars, Anna Kendrick.

"Anna Kendrick ain't no hollars back girl," is up on the marquee.

And Kendrick saw it, and didn't hate it.

"The Hollars," directed by John Krasinksi, is a comedy-drama about John Hollar (Krasinski) who lives in New York, but makes a trip back to his small hometown to help his mother who needs surgery, IMDB says. Krasinksi actually retweeted Kendricks' tweet too.

Kendrick plays Krasinkski's pregnant girlfriend in the film, according to the Boston Globe review.

The film made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival, according to Variety, but is now playing at select theaters across the country.
