Ashton Kutcher, Richard Branson among honorees at Starkey gala Sunday

Film and television star Ashton Kutcher and international businessman Sir Richard Branson are among the honorees at the Starkey Hearing Foundation's 13th annual "So the World May Hear" Awards Gala Sunday in St. Paul.

The "Two and a Half Men" star and the Virgin Group founder are two of the six humanitarians who will be recognized at the event, which will be held at St. Paul's RiverCentre.

The funds raised at the annual gala enables the foundation to give more than 100,000 hearing aids to people in need every year.

The benefit will also feature music and comedy performers, including Lionel Richie, Marc Anthony and Sinbad.

Last year's gala attracted such stars as Billy Crystal, Robin Williams and President Bill Clinton to laud the humanitarian honorees.

The Pioneer Press reports that Clinton is slated to attend again this year, as well as actors Forest Whitaker, Keith David and Verne Troyer.

Several athletes are also expected to attend, including Vikings Adrian Peterson , Greg Jennings and Jared Allen.

The gala is put on annually by Starkey Hearing Foundation founders Bill and Tani Austin.
