Augsburg College joins 'Happy' video craze

Count Augsburg College students among those feeling like a room without a roof.

College students nationwide are using the ubiquitous up-tempo Pharrell Williams pop groove "Happy" to create videos that show off their whimsical sides.

Students shimmy in the snow at Sarah Lawrence, boogie at Boston College and shake a leg at Luther.

Now Augsburg College in Minneapolis is in on the act (see video above), which features President Paul C. Pribbenow, among others.

Cities from Salzburg to Abu Dhabi are using the song to promote themselves, too.

Augsburg College opposes marriage amendment

Augsburg College in Minneapolis is the second higher educational institution to publicly oppose the November ballot measure to define marriage in Minnesota solely between one man and one woman. Minneapolis-based Capella University joined the coalition to defeat the marriage amendment last month.
