Author Erdrich wins fifth Minnesota Book Award
Louise Erdrich became the most-honored author in Minnesota Book Awards history Saturday night by winning her fifth Book Award honor, the Pioneer Press reports.
Erdrich's win for her novel "The Round House" in Novel/Short Story category came as the Book Awards celebrated its 25th anniversary at the Hilton Minneapolis Hotel.

Comedian and author Lorna Landvik hosted the event, which was attended by more than 800 people.
Honors are presented in several categories by the Book Awards, which is a project of The Friends of the St. Paul Public Library, with the St. Paul Public Library and the city.
