Despite it's location at the foot of Minneapolis' majestic Basilica of St. Mary, the Basilica Block Party always manages to be one hell of a good time when festival weekend rolls around in early July.

Founded in 1995, the block party originally served as a fundraiser for restorations on the Basilica building itself, and has since transitioned into a benefit for the building's ongoing preservation effort, as well as St. Mary's charitable efforts in the community.

This year's festival will take place on Friday, July 8th and Saturday, July 9th across three stages, and the lineup runs the gamut from established national names to rising locals.
