Legendary folk artist Bob Dylan will release a new album, "Fallen Angels," on May 20, according to a press release from Columbia Records.
"Fallen Angels" will be the famously prolific songwriter's 37th studio release, and feature 12 interpretations of pop standards made famous by crooners like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. According to Columbia, the album was recorded at Sinatra's former home base, Capitol Studios in Los Angeles with the help of Dylan's touring band. Dylan himself produced the record under the pseudonym of "Jack Frost."
Dylan's new album can be seen as a companion-piece to 2015's "Shadows in the Night," which also featured the Hibbing native interpreting tin-pan alley standards popularized by Frank Sinatra.
The new album's track list and album cover were released this morning, along with a single, Sinatra's "Melancholy Mood," which is available on iTunes and Amazon.
