Bob Dylan is playing a concert – in Minnesota

He hasn't played a show here since 2014.

Bob Dylan is coming to Minnesota for a concert.

The Minnesota native and his band will play the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Dylan announced his tour with Mavis Staples last year, but didn't include a Minnesota stop.

But maybe the Nobel Prize-winning singer and songwriter is warming up to his home state – earlier this year he actually acknowledged he's from Minnesota in an interview, and now he's added a tour stop here.

The last time Dylan played a show in Minnesota was back in 2014, the Star Tribune said, when he did three shows at the Orpheum

Tickets for his Xcel Energy Center show are $52.50, $89.50 or $129.50. You can buy them starting at noon on Friday, Sept. 15 via the Xcel Energy Box Office (call 800-745-3000) or online through Ticketmaster
