Bon Jovi will not only be rocking out at the Xcel Energy Center on Sunday -- the band's members be taking the time to honor six Augburg College students for helping others, WCCO-TV reports.

The students will be "Roadies for the Day" and meet with the band.

Among the students are Alom Martinez who helps fix up homes.

"I know a lot of people back home who listen to Bon Jovi’s music, so they'll be jealous," Martinez told WCCO.

Encouraging people to volunteer isn't something new to Bon Jovi.

The band's lead singer, Jon Bon Jovi, spent a couple hours at the People Serving People homeless shelter in Minneapolis during his last tour stop here in 2010.

Bon Jovi and his bandmates are on the road on their "Because We Can" world tour in support of their new album "What About Now."
