The official track listing has been released for the next volume of the "Cities 97 Sampler."

"Cities 97 Sampler Vol. 25" will include such artists as Matchbox Twenty, Ed Sheeran and Matt Nathanson, the Pioneer Press reports.

This year the "Sampler" is expanding to two CDs to commemorate the landmark 25th anniversary of the annual music compilation. Other acts featured on this year's release include Fitz and the Tantrums, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Amos Lee and Fun.

The Cities 97 discs have been immensely popular over the years because of their limited runs (only 40,000 copies of the 25th volume will be available) and because the discs feature live recordings exclusive to Cities 97.

The two-disc set will features 33 tracks recorded in Cities 97's Studio C or in concert.

The Pioneer Press says local acts on this year's release include Bomba de Luz, Farewell Milwaukee, Chastity Brown and Cities 97 morning DJ Keri Noble.

"Cities 97 Sampler Vol. 25" will go on sale Nov. 21 at Target stores for $32.97. Copies of the discs in years past have typically sold out within hours.

Sales proceeds from the CD set will go to Minnesota charities.

Cities 97 says a release party to mark the event will be held Nov. 20 at the Myth Live Event Center in Maplewood.
