On a flight from Boston to San Francisco, passenger Stephanie Kahan received an envelope containing candy from a man on the plane.

The candy, he says, was to pass to his three-year-old daughter, who was so bummed about missing Halloween trick-or-treating because they were flying that he wanted to do something to make up for it.

Kahan posted this tweet, which has since been shared more than 55,000 times.

Well played, dad.
