Country music star Dierks Bentley will headline one night of the Wayzata Beach Bash next month.
The 39-year-old Bentley, whose had 13 No. 1 songs on the country singles chart, will headline the Friday, Sept. 11 performances, the festival announced. The performances will continue Saturday, with BoDeans and Minnesota's own Soul Asylum taking the stage.
Wayzata Beach Bash – in its third year – is part of the annual James J. Hill celebration. The goal, according to a news release, was to increase overall attendance at the decades-old celebration.
The outdoor beach bash concerts have a capacity of just 5,000 people, according to the release.
Big N. Rich headlined in 2013; Billy Currington and the Goo Goo Dolls played last year.
General admission tickets are $52, and a limited number of VIP tickets are available for $147.50 for the Friday show. It's $30 and $85 for those types of tickets, respectively, for the Saturday performances.
