Electric Fetus reveals plans to celebrate 50th birthday

The iconic music store was born and raised in Minneapolis.

The Electric Fetus is celebrating its 50th birthday with a bash at First Avenue. 

First Ave will host the anniversary celebration on June 9 at 7 p.m. Advanced tickets are $20 (limit of 6 per customer) and you can buy them here beginning Mar. 30 at 12 p.m. 

Friends of the Fetus can take advantage of pre-sale tickets Mar. 28 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

Musical guests for the party include Real Estate, Habibi, Flamin' Ohs, Last Import, and DJ Roy Freedo. 

The Electric Fetus was born Minnesota in 1968 and it's been at its location off 4th Avenue and Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis since 1972. It also has a location in Duluth.
