Elton John's farewell tour includes a stop in Minneapolis, but I think it's going to be a long, long time before fans get to see him.

The British music icon has announced his next tour will be his last one – and his biggest.

The gigantic, sprawling three-year "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour will include 300 dates, including a stop at Target Center.

But it'll be more than a year till he gets here, with his show set to take place on Feb. 21, 2019.

Tickets will cost $59.50 to $249.50 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 16 at Axs.com and the Target Center box office.

The last time was in the Twin Cities was five years ago, playing the Xcel in 2013. The next time will also be his last time.
