Everything must go: Pianist Lori Line's Christmas past on sale

A popular Twin Cities pianist known for her colorful holiday concerts is now offering her fans a chance to own memorabilia from a quarter century of performing.

Lori Line will hold an estate sale this week in a warehouse in Maple Plain, Minnesota, where she plans to liquidate a vast collection of props from the Christmas shows that helped make her famous, according to her official website.

This includes props, set pieces, professional sound and lighting gear, period costumes and "endless Christmas decorations."

The items, the website indicates, will be "priced to sell and move!"

The sale follows longstanding reports of turbulence in Line's finances.

Despite her ability to draw "sell-out crowds" across the Midwest, the Post Bulletin says, her once-extravagant shows have grown noticeably smaller in scale in recent years.

Line nearly lost her home in a foreclosure in 2012, though she and her husband and business partner Tim Line managed to pull themselves out of it, according to the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal.

The paper said that the house, a palatial mansion on Lake Minnetonka, was eventually put up for sale for $4 million.

The estate sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Thursday and Friday.
