Festival Palomino nearly doubles in size for third year

Festival Palomino, located on the grounds of Canterbury Park in Shakopee, is back for another year, and has expanded their roster to hold 16 acts, nine more than in 2015.

In September of 2014, Duluth's Trampled by Turtles launched the inaugural Festival Palomino, hand-picking a roster of nine local and national acts. In 2015, the festival attracted roughly 10,000 attendees, according to Palomino's organizers.

This year's iteration of the festival has expanded to three stages, and will also feature horse racing action for the first time.

Tickets are $52 for general admission, and $151 with an upgrade to VIP, and go on-sale this Friday at noon via the Festival's website. VIP tickets include access to premium seating and viewing areas, and a private bar, bathrooms, and food vendors.
