Larry Fitzgerald Jr. is at it again.

On top of being one of the most prolific wide receivers in the NFL, the Minneapolis native is known as one of the most generous athletes in the community.

On Monday, the 29-year-old Fitzgerald was on hand to see the 1,000 brand new Riddell helmets he donated to the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board's youth football program last fall go to good use.

The unveiling of the helmets was held at Dr. Martin Luther King Park in Minneapolis, and Fitzgerald interacted with neighborhood youth, telling WCCO-TV he wants to make sure the next generation of kids is well protected and gets the same opportunities he had growing up at King Park.

The youth football program will also get coaching and training help from Heads Up Football, a program in place to teach kids how to properly tackle and avoid concussions.

This isn't the first time the Holy Angels grad has made his presence known in the community.

Channel 12 in Arizona discovered Fitzgerald is always willing to help, even if it's on a whim.
