Former Twin Cities radio personality to be featured on 'Bridezillas' spin-off

A former radio personality with K-TWIN 96.3 FM in the Twin Cities is set to appear in a spin-off of the popular WE TV reality series "Bridezillas," the Pioneer Press reports.

Danni Starr, who worked for eight years with K-TWIN before parting ways with the station last spring, will be featured in "Marriage Boot Camp: Bridezillas" next month.

The spin-off series was ordered last month just as "Bridezillas" was picked up for a 10th season, The Hollywood Reporter says.

THR says the show "Marriage Bootcamp" will take place over nine hour-long episodes, and "will follow five bridezillas trying to save their marriages while living under one roof."

Starr, 28, was featured on the original "Bridezillas" a couple years back, but told Amy Carlson Gustafson of the Pioneer Press that she received a lot of backlash because she "made the mistake of thinking everyone would know it was entertainment."

"A lot of people did not realize that and thought I was a demon," Starr said.

A Minneapolis native and former Miss Minnesota, Starr recently also recently started a new radio gig as co-host on "The Kane Show," a Clear Channel syndicated morning radio show based in Washington, D.C.
