The lineup has been announced for July's annual Basilica Block Party music festival, the Pioneer Press reports.

The two-night, three stage musical event in Minneapolis will be headlined by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, and Matt Nathanson on July 12, and Matchbox Twenty, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, and the Goo Goo Dolls July 13.

Other artist scheduled for July 12 include Father John Misty, Mayer Hawthorne, ZZ Ward, Family of the Year and Churchill. The July 13 lineup also includes Kate Earl, Walk the Moon and Cloud Cult.

The festival's third stage will feature local bands including Actual Wolf, the Cactus Blossoms and Southwire on July 12, and On an On, Van Stee and Bomba de luz on July 13.

The festival -- which traditionally draws about 25,000 fans -- began in 1995 as a fundraiser to help pay for the structural restoration of The Basilica of Saint Mary.

Now, the proceeds are directed through The Basilica Landmark to fund the continued renovation of The Basilica and its campus.

Presale tickets go on sale Saturday, and general ticket sales begin May 4.

Meanwhile, tickets go on sale Friday for Rock the Garden 2013, an outdoor music festival at the Walker Art Center's Sculpture Garden, set for June 15.
