No, this is not an early April Fools' joke.

Grammy Award winners Green Day will make a stop at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on April 1 as part of their 2017 Revolution Radio North American Tour.

The band just released their latest album "Revolution Radio" last week and it's getting pretty good reviews.

Punk band Against Me! will be the opening act for the entire tour.

Members of Green Day's fan club will get first pick of the tickets, with a pre-sale starting on Wednesday.

Regular tickets go on sale at noon on Friday – you can get them via Ticketmaster or from the Xcel's box office. There is a pre-sale on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Password: DOOKIE)

VIP packages will be available for all tour dates, the release said. Price details have not been announced.

The last time Green Day played the Xcel was on their American Idiot tour in 2005 – and it looks like singer Billie Joe Armstrong still enjoys poking fun at politics.
