Hall of Fame broadcaster gives Twins fans nostalgia
Broadcaster John Gordon was inducted into the Twins' Hall of Fame before their home game against Cleveland on Sunday afternoon.
He was the team's play-by-play voice for 25 years, says KMSP. Gordon joined the team in 1987 – the same year that the Twins went on to defeat the Cardinals in the World Series.
His trademark was to say "Touch 'em all, (insert player name here)!" after a player hit one out of the park and began rounding bases.
John Gordon stayed trending on Twitter Sunday afternoon, showing support from his large fan-base.
