Hey Breaking Bad fans – a real life Los Pollos Hermanos is open

The best ingredients, the spiciest spices — all prepared with love and care.

Breaking Bad fans rejoice: You can finally go eat at Los Pollos Hermanos.

But you'll have to go to Texas this weekend.

A pop-up version of the fictional fried chicken chain opened in an Austin parking lot Friday. It's around just for the weekend in conjunction with the SXSW festival, Austin Eater says.

Giancarlo Esposito, who plays Gus Fring on the hit AMC show, tweeted this:

Fring, of course, served fried chicken to customers on the ground floor of his Los Pollos Hermanos restaurant. Meanwhile, meth was being cooked in industrial-level quantities in the basement, then packed and distributed under the guise of the fast food chain.

If you're a fan of the show, the restaurant is a dream come true.

If you've never seen it, sorry for the spoilers. But you should get on that.

Earlier this year, a Los Pollos Hermanos commercial revealed Fring and his chicken chain will make an appearance in season three of AMC’s prequel series Better Call Saul.

And Bob Odenkirk, who plays crooked lawyer Saul in Breaking Bad and its spin-off, is a featured speaker at SXSW. Bizjournals says Odenkirk and Esposito will sign autographs at Los Pollos Hermanos on Sunday afternoon for some lucky chosen fans.

So the pop-up is just a stunt to get people hyped about the next season of the show – one that appears to be working.
