Home on the Range: Double shot of Dylan in Minn. this week

On Tuesday, Bob Dylan will return to play a show in the city of his birth for the first time in almost 15 years. Dylan (and Paul Simon) played for 20,000 fans in Duluth in 1999.

The Duluth News Tribune reports that Dylan's Americanarama Tour includes Wilco, My Morning Jacket and Richard Thompson. The former Robert Zimmerman will take the stage at Bayfront Festival Park. In June 1986, the Duluth City Council voted to rename Harbor Drive as Bob Dylan Drive.

Dylan will play at Midway Stadium in St. Paul on July 10. The show in the baseball home of the St. Paul Saints, which has a seating capacity of about 6,000, is sold out.
