BringMeTheNews is proud to announce that we've brought Joe Nelson on staff full time as Broadcast Network Manager, as well as Sports Director. It's a coup for BringMeTheNews – we couldn't be happier to have him!

Joe is a true-blue Minnesotan, born and raised in Grove City, Minnesota, and a graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University.

And he's an experienced sports radio broadcaster who most recently has been working two jobs – as a sports producer for BringMeTheNews and as the producer of Paul Allen's "Nine to Noon" show on FM 100.3 KFAN.

As a nice farewell, KFAN featured a couple of tributes – give 'em a listen below. Welcome, Joe!

– Some really nice words from Paul Allen, who worked with Joe for five years, and who calls Joe one of the hardest-working guys in the business. KFAN host Paul Charchian adds that Joe is never in a bad mood – so true! (starts about 14:25):
