Justin Timberlake made two lasting impressions during his Super Bowl halftime show in Minneapolis.
- Incorporating Prince into the show via a giant projection
- Taking selfies with a 13-year-old kid in the stands
We've since come to learn that the 13-year-old is Ryan McKenna, a Massachusetts native who came to the game with his dad and brother to root on the Patriots.
McKenna is now a part of pop lore, and his journey is apparently just getting started.
During an episode of Ellen this week, McKenna was invited on as a guest. And guess who, JT, surprised him again.
Timberlake was on the phone for the surprise, but they'll meet in person thanks to JT offering him and his family VIP passes to his upcoming show at TD Garden in Boston.
Now, obviously we're excited for this kid, but it could've been Brian from Burnsville or Walt from Watertown or even Mikey from Minneapolis in McKenna's place had the Vikings not laid a giant egg against Philadelphia in the NFC title game.
