Justin Timberlake just unveiled a new narrative for his performance at this year's Super Bowl LII Halftime Show in Minneapolis. His 2004 appearance with Janet Jackson sparked serious controversy, but Tuesday's announcement was about as family-friendly as you could get.
The actor/R&B superstar posted a visual on YouTube teasing an album called Man of the Woods, which will be released February 2 – two days before the big game. The clip features quick appearances by wife (and Minnesota native) Jessica Biel and producer Pharrell Williams.
Though the outdoor imagery appears to be from his home state of Tennessee, music blog Consequence of Sound pointed out that Timberlake could be taking folk music cues from another Justin – Wisconsin native Justin Vernon of Bon Iver fame.

Recent Super Bowl halftime performances by Lady Gaga and Beyonce have been showcases of hits that also tease a new album and/or tour. Timberlake now has checked one box, and tour info could be imminent.
