KARE introduces the new morning anchor replacing Tim McNiff

Kris Laudien replaces Tim McNiff beginning Monday.

Tim McNiff's last day as a morning news anchor at KARE 11 was Friday, which means Monday will bring a new personality to the anchor chair next to Alicia Lewis and Sven Sundgaard.

The new guy: Kris Laudien, who made his way to the Twin Cities from Global News Canada.

KARE's Tim McNiff is leaving morning show, launching a digital series

KARE gave viewers a first impression of Laudien through a 6-minute "get to know him" video on Friday.

  4. Dogs over cats.
