KARE introduces the new morning anchor replacing Tim McNiff
Tim McNiff's last day as a morning news anchor at KARE 11 was Friday, which means Monday will bring a new personality to the anchor chair next to Alicia Lewis and Sven Sundgaard.
The new guy: Kris Laudien, who made his way to the Twin Cities from Global News Canada.

KARE gave viewers a first impression of Laudien through a 6-minute "get to know him" video on Friday.

A recent news release from KARE said McNiff will be "launching a multi-platform news and sports digital series" which will "focus on in-depth commentary and insider interviews, pulling heavily on McNiff’s sports and news backgrounds."
"KARE 11 Sunrise" airs Monday-Friday from 5 a.m. - 7 a.m.
