Tim McNiff's last day as a morning news anchor at KARE 11 was Friday, which means Monday will bring a new personality to the anchor chair next to Alicia Lewis and Sven Sundgaard.
The new guy: Kris Laudien, who made his way to the Twin Cities from Global News Canada.
KARE gave viewers a first impression of Laudien through a 6-minute "get to know him" video on Friday.
You can watch the full version on KARE's website, but here's a slimmed down version – along with 10 things to know about him.
- He can skate (obviously).
- Wears a size 11 skate.
- Loves Twitter.
- Dogs over cats.
- Enjoys cheesecake.
- Drinks beer while watching football.
- Hates grimy teeth.
- Doesn't drink much coffee or caffeine.
- Hockey is his favorite sport (obviously).

A recent news release from KARE said McNiff will be "launching a multi-platform news and sports digital series" which will "focus on in-depth commentary and insider interviews, pulling heavily on McNiff’s sports and news backgrounds."
"KARE 11 Sunrise" airs Monday-Friday from 5 a.m. - 7 a.m.
