Nine months ago, KARE 11 anchor Diana Pierce interviewed Maple Grove's Drew Horwood about his "Jeopardy!" winning streak.

Now Pierce herself has become a part of the popular syndicated game show – as a clue.

Media Bistro said a clue (technically an "answer," per the show's rules) featuring Pierce aired Friday that read, "Diana Pierce anchors the news on KARE in this city, a lot better than Ted Baxter did at fictional WJM."

The question, of course, is "Where is Minneapolis?" – the fictional city where WJM was located in the classic sitcom "Mary Tyler Moore." Ted Knight starred in the series as Baxter, the station's clueless anchorman.

While the question was an likely an easy one for local viewers, the contestants didn't fare so well. Two competitors guessed Cincinnati and Chicago before the third came up with the correct response.

Pierce had fun with the recognition in a post on Twitter.

"Jeopardy!" is a part of KARE's syndicated programming during the weekdays.

Pierce celebrated her 30th anniversary on the air at the station in September.
