An anchorman from Milwaukee is heading to KSTP-TV to replace Chris Egert, who left his weekend anchor duties to be co-host on "Twin Cities Live!"

The Pioneer Press reports that Tom Durian will start on the weekend anchor desk July 8.

Durian is coming from CBS affiliate WDJT-TV in Milwaukee. He will also do reporting in addition to anchor duties.

WDJT station manager Jim Hall calls Durian "a good journalist and a solid anchor," the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

"He was good with social media as well and had a good head on his shoulders," Hall said. "We wish him well."
