Lady Gaga made a surprise visit to Gillette Children’s Specialty Health Care in St. Paul on Wednesday.

The pop singer performed for several patients, WCCO says, and spent one-on-one time with the kids to promote Gillette’s “CurePity” movement, which is a commitment to move attitudes away from pity and toward acceptance of kids who have disabilities.

Lady Gaga performed at the Xcel Energy Center Tuesday night as part of her ARTPOP Ball tour. During the concert, she gave a shoutout to Emma Carroll, a patient at Gillette Children's, according to reports.

But Gillette had no idea the performer was going to stop by the next day. KARE 11 says Lady Gaga only gave Gillette Children’s a few hours notice before showing up to say hello.

Gillette said Lady Gaga was a "true inspiration."
