Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson surprised a student at Stillwater High School with a special message that was played over the school's intercom system.
We shared the story with you before thanks to some grainy footage and hard-to-hear audio The Rock posted to Twitter and Instagram, but the school sent out the actual audio sent to them by The Rock.
"Alright, let's start this Friday morning announcement off with a little bit of fun and a little bit of excitement," The Rock says.
"Good morning to the Stillwater Area High School students, this is, as you might have guessed by now, Dwayne Johnson, also known as 'The Rock,' also known as a big, bald, brown tattoo guy, who's running around movies such as Jumanji, Fast and Furious, and a new movie I have out called Rampage.
"You're probably thinking, 'whaaaaat, what is The Rock doing on our intercom system?' Well, I'm sending a message to a very special young lady."
That's when he named Katie Kelzenberg, the Stillwater student who invited him to prom, to which he thanked her but said he can't go because he's filming a movie in Hawaii at that time.
To make up for it, he bought out an entire 232-seat theater at Oakdale Cinemas with all the popcorn, candy and soda Katie and her friends can handle.
"I think after this, because me and Katie are best friends now, I think this would officially make me a Stillwater Area High School Pony. That is correct, I am officially a Pony. The Rock is a Pony."
