Minnesota-born comedian Louie Anderson is learning to dive in a painful sort of way in a new clip of the celebrity reality competition "Splash."

ABC, which is starting to air promotional spots ahead of the show's March 19 premiere, has posted clips online of Anderson and his fellow divers making attempting basic dives as they get in shape for the competition.

Ten celebrities will be featured on the show. Among those highlighted in the clip are basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and former Miss Alabama-turned-Internet sensation Katherine Webb.

The St. Paul native is billed in the clip as "Fearless Comedian Louie Anderson." At the end of the spot, Anderson warns, "Don't try this at home."

The comedy star and his fellow divers at least won't have to go it alone. They'll be coached by former Olympian Greg Louganis, and judged by London Olympics U.S. Gold medalist David Boudia and Australian Olympic athlete and USA Dive Team director Steve Foley.

See Anderson, 59, make a splash -- belly flop style -- in the clip below.
