Louie Anderson eliminated from ABC's 'Splash'

St. Paul native Louie Anderson made waves with his latest dive on the celebrity diving competition "Splash" Tuesday night, but it wasn't enough to the keep the comedy star on the show.

Anderson did a backflip from 16 feet above the pool during this season's fourth episode, but only earned an average score of 5.75 from the judges.

The funnyman exited the show gracefully, saying, "This is not my last dive. This is my first step into a brand new life."

Last week, Anderson paired with NBA Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the show's partner dive.

Despite having sharing he lowest score, the duo avoided possible elimination when reality personality Kendra Wilkinson was eliminated from the show by default after pulling out of a dive.

Anderson, 59, said last month that one of the reasons he did the show was to get healthier.
