Maple Grove bakery's cake goes viral because it looks like ... you know

The misunderstanding is turning out great for Nadia Cakes.

So the cake pictured above, what does it look like?

You have filthy minds, the lot of you.

But don't worry, many will agree with you, as the cake made by a Minnesota bakery has gone viral because of its resemblance to a vagina.

It could turn out to be the best misunderstanding possible for Nadia Cakes in Maple Grove, which has seen its initial Facebook post of its "geode rock cake" shared more than 26,000 times since Jan. 27.

And because of its notoriety, Nadia Cakes has since renamed it the "Vageode Cake."

Perhaps because of its anatomic similarity, nobody bought the cake that was on display in the shop's front window.

It's worth reading the comments on the initial post, because as well as having some serious confectionary talents, Nadia Cakes' social media game is on fire.

"Well, once again we've underestimated our customer's ability to see genitals in our baked goods," the cake shop commented. "Let's put that cute mushroom cake we had planned in the 'do not make' file."

And when debunking the idea that their rock cake was vagina-like, they responded: "Guys, have you seen the mad skills of our cake design team? If we made a vagina cake, you wouldn't be saying "OMG, that cake is a vagina." You'd be saying "That vagina is a CAKE?!"

"Well, it's official. Our customers are 50% rock enthusiasts and 50% perverts," it added.

Nadia Cakes and its baker-owner Abby Jimenez are no stranger to headlines. In 2012, before she even opened her cake shop, Jimenez was the first Minnesotan to win on Food Network show Cupcake Wars.
