Minneapolis man to begin competition on 'America's Next Top Model'

Starting Friday night, a Minneapolis rapper, model and club owner will see if he has what it takes to become "America's Next Top Model," the Pioneer Press reports.

Don Walls, 25, is one of the men competing on the 20th cycle of the Tyra Banks reality competition.

Usually a competition for female models, "America's Next Top Model" broke tradition this time by going the co-ed route with its "Guys vs. Girls" competition.

The 16 competitors are all vying to win a modeling contract.

Walls was introduced as one of the competitors by the show in March, where audiences were invited to vote for their favorites online based on their photo shoots.

According to his bio on Model Mayhem, Walls' goal is to become a full time model and actor.

"America's Next Top Model" airs locally on The CW, starting Friday at 7 p.m.
