The Minneapolis native who plays ad executive Pete Campbell on the hit AMC series "Mad Men" is about to take the plunge.
According to Us Weekly, Minneapolis native Vincent Kartheiser has gotten engaged to his "Mad Men" co-star, Alexis Bledel.
A representative for Bledel confirmed the engagement to Kartheiser for Us Weekly. The pair have reportedly been dating for a few months.
Kartheiser, 33, has played Pete on "Mad Men" since the show's start in 2007.
Bledel, 31, joined the cast last season and appeared in three episodes, where her character, Beth Dawes, becomes involved in affair with Pete.
Kartheiser, who performed in several plays that the Children's Theater Company in Minneapolis and at least one local ad growing up, has also appeared in several films -- including "In Time" and "Rango," where he did a voice role.
Bledel starred for seven seasons on The WB series "The Gilmore Girls," and has starred in such films as "Sin City" and "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and its sequel.
The sixth season of "Mad Men" begins April 7.
