Minnesotan Humphries no-show at Kardashian divorce settlement hearing

The Kris Humphries-Kim Kardashian post-marital saga continued to play out in court Friday with a mandatory divorce settlement hearing -- but Humphries was nowhere in sight, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The Minnesota-born Humphries and Kardashian have been at odds since the "Keeping up with the Kardashians" reality show personality filed for divorce from the former Gopher and NBA player Oct. 31, 2011 -- a mere 72 days after their high-profile wedding ceremony on E! Entertainment Television.

The hearing Friday was the last stop before the couple's divorce trial, which is scheduled for May 6.

According to The Associated Press, Humphries is seeking to have the marriage annulled, arguing that it was based on fraud.

Kardashian, on the other hand, wants a judge to enter a divorce judgment and has been denying accusations that she married the basketball player for the sake of her reality shows, The AP says.

Kris is not the only Humphries in divorce court

While Kris Humphries' divorce drags on longer than his marriage lasted, his parents are reportedly also splitting up. The basketball star's father, William Humphries, owns a chain of hamburger restaurants across Minnesota. The elder Humphries' union lasted considerably longer than Kris' 72 day marriage to reality TV celebrity Kim Kardashian.
