Minnesotans Henry, DuBose eliminated from 'The Voice'

Minnesota's two contestants on "The Voice" have been silenced.

The Pioneer Press reports that both Holly Henry from Minneapolis and Ashley DuBose from St. Paul were eliminated from the NBC reality competition Monday night.

Both Henry, 19, and DuBose, 23, impressed the show's four coaches during their respective blind auditions, as Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton all courted the singers to be on their teams.

Henry ended up opting for Shelton's team, while DuBose picked Levine.

In Monday night's knockout round, however, Shelton gave the nod to Nic Hawk over Henry to advance, while Levine picked Tessanne Chin over DuBose.

Both singers were gracious of the support they received from their Twitter followers and each vowed there is more to come.
