Minnesota's Becca Kufrin is ready to 'do the damn thing' as 'Bachelorette'

The new season begins May 28.

After getting engaged and then dumped by the lying snake Arie Luyendyk, Jr. on the last season of The Bachelor, Prior Lake native Becca Kufrin will debut as the The Bachelorette on May 28 on ABC.

The show's host, Chris Harrison, revealed a poster on Instagram this week showing Becca in a rose-gold gown with her "let's do the damn thing" phrase stretched from top to bottom.

E! released sneak-peak footage of the opening night, when Becca is introduced to a bunch of guys, including a man dressed in a chicken costume, and in all likelihood a heavy dose of gym bros.

Becca, meanwhile, has gone radio silent, which is the norm while on the show is filming. It's so strict that, according to The Verge, contestants have to give up their phones and are allowed zero TV, internet or radio.

"These guys and gals essentially sit in an enormous mansion (or various far-flung hotel rooms) all day for two months, with nothing to entertain them but their own thoughts and their competitors in the sport of love."

Let's just hope Becca only has to deal with contestants like season 12's Chad Johnson for a limited time. One can only take so much of this
