Minnetonka Moccasin and Duluth Pack have teamed up ... and the results are chic

With a combined 206 years in existence, these brands have never been cooler.

Oh it's trendy, it's very trendy.

Despite being around for a combined 206 years, Minnetonka Moccasin and Duluth Pack have never been cooler than they are right now thanks to an explosion in consumer demand for authentic, local goods.

And they're capitalizing on this by teaming up for a limited edition collection of moccasins and bags that have gone on sale Monday, just in time for the holiday season.

Olive Duluth Pack canvas has been added to Minnetonka's trademark moccasin slippers, which will set you back $70 for women's and $80 for men's.

And two Duluth Pack bags, a shell bag for $110 and a scout pack for $170, feature suede flaps and fringes courtesy of the moccasin-maker.

You can buy them on the Minnetonka Moccasin and Duluth Pack websites, with customers advised to get them "before they're gone."

They're also on sale at the Duluth Park store in Duluth, the General Store in Minnetonka and Nokomis Shoes in Minneapolis, with other retailers including the 715 store in Hudson, Zaiser Souvenir and Gift Shop in Nisswa and Annie's Trading Post in Roseau, the Star Tribune reports.

The newspaper notes that the two companies have been collaborating for the past year on marketing campaigns, with an Instagram giveaway revealing there's a fair amount of customer crossover between the two brands.

The two brands have long histories in Minnesota, with Duluth Pack starting as a hunting and outdoors apparel maker in 1882.

Minnetonka Moccasin was founded as a gift shop in 1946, and still has its main office on East Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis.
